Respect for the Rule of Law and Judicial Independence Called for by the Chief Justice

The presiding magistrate of the Supreme Court of Justice, María Cristina Chen Stanziola, reiterated the importance of respecting the rule of law and the procedures established by law, when referring to the strengthening of the justice system and the need to preserve judicial independence.  Her statements, included in an official statement, come amid questions raised by the Executive Branch about recent judicial decisions.
