A Panama Network Producing Synthetic Drugs is Dismantled: Gummies Containing THC, Tusi, and Methamphetamine
Operation Synthesis dismantled an organization of Panamanians and Colombians that produced and distributed synthetic drugs.
It was a three-linked chain: production, storage, and distribution of synthetic drugs spread across three districts of West Panama. The National Police and the Public Prosecutor’s Office dismantled the network that sustained this scheme after 10 simultaneous raids. Twelve people were arrested. The operations covered locations in Chame, La Chorrera and Arraiján, which functioned as a base of operations to produce, store and sell.
