During an Operation by the Panama City Hall in Condado del Rey an Illegal Bar was Dismantled

The Panama City Mayor’s Office dismantled an illegal bar in Condado del Rey that was operating without permits or notification of business. Beer and equipment below were confiscated.

The Municipality of Panama, through the Directorate of Permits and Compliance, dismantled a clandestine bar of Asian origin located in Condado del Rey, after detecting multiple irregularities during an inspection.  According to authorities, the establishment was operating without a notice of operation, without permits for the sale of alcoholic beverages, and without complying with its tax obligations.  The action was carried out following several citizen complaints filed by residents of the area, who alerted about the irregular activities taking place at the premises.

During the operation, merchandise, cases of beer, and sound equipment were seized, making it one of the most significant seizures carried out by the current mayoral administration in terms of compliance and oversight.  The operation involved the participation of the Municipal Police, National Police units, inspectors and compliance officers, who carried out the procedure under due process and without incident.  The authorities drew up the corresponding reports and reiterated that they will continue to carry out operations to combat clandestine establishments that operate outside the law in the capital district.
