The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) reported Saturday, April 4, the disappearance of a 70-year-old foreigner, who was reported missing after entering the sea in the morning, in the district of Soná, province of Veraguas, specifically in the area of ​​Santa Catalina and El Estero beach. The tourist was believed to be French. Similarly, in the Veracruz sector of West Panama, two people were rescued after being at risk of being swept out to sea by the tide.
