In Costa Rica it was Panama Winning a Large Number of Medals
The Panamanian delegation has demonstrated exceptional technical and competitive prowess, placing Panama at the top of Central American gymnastics. Panama wins a large number of medals in Costa Rica.

The Panamanian delegation won a shower of medals at the 2025 Central American Artistic Gymnastics Championship held in La Sabana, Costa Rica. Our team collected an impressive haul of gold, silver, and bronze medals in all categories, demonstrating the rise and depth of talent in the country. Gymnast Richard Atencio (GAM Mayor) had a strong performance, sweeping the board with three gold medals on the Horizontal Bar, Pommel Bar, and Floor apparatus, as well as a bronze medal on the Rings. His performance cemented Panama’s place at the top of the men’s podium.
Immediately afterward, the Senior Women’s Team (GAF), comprised of Tatiana Tapia, Alyiah Lide, and Ana Gabriela Gutiérrez, won the Team Gold Medal, ensuring Panamanian supremacy from the start of the finals. In the individual competitions, Tatiana Tapia was crowned the queen of the tournament, winning the Gold Medal in the All Around, as well as two more golds in the apparatus finals: Uneven Bars (11.200) and Floor (12.050). Likewise, Alyiah Lide also shone brightly, earning a Gold Medal in the Vault (22.000) and a Silver in the All-Around, as well as a Bronze in the Uneven Bars (10.700). Finally, Ana Gabriela Gutiérrez earned a Silver Medal in the Vault apparatus (12.700).
Ana Lucía Beitía Wins Five Golds in Youth Category. Panamanian gymnastics also shows great potential, and the performance of the Junior National Team shows promise. Ana Lucía Beitía became the top individual winner, earning a spectacular five gold medals: on the vault, bars, beam, floor, and all-around. The youth event also featured Aylin Goon, who took home two silver medals (Vault and All Around) and two bronze medals (Beam and Bars), and María Eloísa Eojss, who added a silver medal on the floor.
Outstanding Performances in the UPAG Category
Ivanna Velásquez (UPAG Team 2) led her team to gold in the uneven bars (12.300m), silver in the floor (11.500m), and bronze in the all-around (46.250m). Her team, which included Lucia Daniella Crespo Hernández, Violeta Richa Malvehy, and Leah Marie Zaboukos, took home the team bronze medal. UPAG Team 1 (Alicia Rivera, Bethel Saenz, Vera Becerra, and Bianca Samuels) also took the podium with the Team Bronze Medal. Alicia Rivera earned a Bronze on Beam (11.350), and Bianca Samuels earned a Bronze on Floor (11.300). In short, the Panamanian delegation demonstrated exceptional technical and competitive prowess, placing Panama at the top of Central American gymnastics with multiple podium finishes and a resounding dominance in the apparatus finals and the all-around.
