The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago: ‘She’s Gone Crazy’ Nicolás Maduro Says

Maduro’s reaction claims that the Caribbean ruler intends to attack Venezuela.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro said Monday that Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar “has gone crazy,” accusing her of planning attacks against the oil-producing country, something the official denied last Friday.  “Quite simply, the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago went crazy, threatening to authorize attacks against Venezuela from Trinidad and Tobago, practically declaring war on Venezuela. I am sure that the people of Trinidad and Tobago are completely against it; we are neighboring countries,” Maduro said at a press conference in Caracas.
