The Valentine heart stealer is still around in El Valle de Anton
Out and about with Myfanwy Davies
Valentine’s day has passed but the stars of the Panama Opera are not going to let you forget.
On Friday, February 18, those who haven’t had their fill of the passionate arrows, and have the good fortune to live in or be visiting El Valle de Anton, can pop across to the San Jose Church for a heart swelling feast of arias and duets “expressing selfless love, undying love, unrequited love, anticipation of love, remembrance of love and more.” No mention of false love or unfullfilled promises, but who needs that?
The stars will be accompanied by Professor Ricardo Noriegaand recently returned from New York Diana Duran, Elisa Troetsch, Yaisury Rodriguez; Tenors Juan Pomares and Alfonso Baysa, Baritones Edric Echevers and Moises Guevara.
The evening will be moderated by international soprano, Irena Sylya.
Buy yourself another bunch of roses, enjoy the evening, and remember when it all rang true. The performance starts at 8.30 p.m.
