No Education More Crime Darker Future
If there is something that has become clear in this pandemic, it is that the rulers have been playing the statesman, but they do not even reach first grade. We have hospitals, but with obvious shortcomings: doctors, nurses, equipment, and supplies. Now we will face the fact that some 200,000 students cannot receive an education due to a lack of equipment or internet to receive their classes at a distance. Zero planning. The country can no longer endure so much improvised politics or the negligent waste of funds necessary to solve the pressing problems of the population. In the end, Panama will have poorer people and fewer educated youth. Common and organized crime will have many more candidates for their illegal activities. But politicians, blinded by greed, can only see the gleam of easy gold, regardless of how the horizon darkens.- LA PRENSA, Oct.1
