Hollywood star returns to Casco Viejo
Hollywood actor Owen Wilson, famed for his roles in hit comedies like “Marley and I” and “Midnight in Paris” is in Panama during the Christmas holidays and was staying at the prestigious La Compañía hotel in Casco Viejo which along with the Benissimo Gelato & Caffè cafeteria published a photo of the actor on site.
Panama has become one of Wilson’s favorite places to visit on vacation. In 2018 he spent his birthday here, biking along the Cinta Costera, walking through the Old Town, and enjoying the best restaurants. The following year, he returned to Panama and was seen visiting the Interoceanic Canal Museum.
Born in Texas, he carved out a career in Hollywood as a leading comedy actor and screenwriter. He has collaborated with Ben Stiller on several films, including the Night at the Museum trilogy, My Girlfriend’s Family, and Zoolander. In 2001, he was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for the film The Royal Tenenbaums. In 2011, he was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor for the comedy Midnight in Paris.
