Killers of Deli Gourmet employees get 20 years.

The men who murdered two female employees of Deli Gourmet, after a 2006 robbery for a few thousand dollars, have been sentenced to 20 years in jail.

 The women Holanda Martínez and Vielka Rodríguez were taken by taxi from the Obarrio store at closing time on a Saturday. Their bodies were found on Feb 4 2006, at the side of Corredor Sur near the Llano Bonito exit. Martinez was pregnant at the time. They had been shot.
Eric Vargas Puga and Hilario Valderrama were each sentenced to 20 years in prisonThe sentence was handed down in the Second Criminal High Court  on Monday.
Alberto Vargas Puga was sentenced to seven years in prison for being an accomplice of aggravated theft.
