LAS TABLAS – The National Police caught several drug pushers, preparing to distribute cocaine during the Culeca in Las Tablas.
Two young men were picked up at a check point leading into Parque Porras Two others carrying cocaine for sale were arrested in different locations.

COLON – Three people, including a nine-years-old, died on the first night of Carnival in a traffic accident.
The incident took place after 11: p.m. near the community of Quebrada Ancha, on the outskirts of Columbus. when a vehicle collided with a bus.
Dead at the scene of the accident were Luis Gardin, 39 years, his son , 9, with the same name, and Nidia Pineda.
LOS SANTOS -Thousands of tourists dodged carnivals in the interior in the early hours of Sunday and traveled to Iguana Island, l. in the district of Pedasi, Los Santos province.
Visitors to this region departed from the port of Pedasi for the beaches of El Arenal and La Candelaria..
Hector Gracia, director of the National Civil Protection System in Los Santos, issued a warning to all people traveling to the island to carry life jackets.Gracia added that he has informed ferry captains that they have to carry cell phones with batteries fully charged.
He also warned that boats should not travel In the early morning hours.
