Three groups bid for metro bus program

Only three consortiums are participating in the bidding for the design, supply and operation of Panama’s, Metro Bus system

 The companies interested are Metro Bus Consortium Panama, Express del Futuro and Mass Transit Consortium Panama.

Deputy Minister of Government and Justice, Jorge Ricardo Fabrega said that the funds of the proposal had to be examined,and the  companies would be analyzed to see if they met the minimum requirements to participate in the tender.

The event, held at the Yellow House of the Presidency of the Republic, was also attended by Minister of the Presidency, Jimmy Papadimitriu, whom announced that the Government is willing to subsidize the system necessary.
