Investigation opened into Bocas deaths and injuries

 Giuseppe Bonissi,  the stand in for suspended Attorney General Ana Matilde Gomez, revealed on Friday, July 16, the opening of an official investigation into the deaths of two workers in Changuinola, Bocas del Toro.

He  will also investigate cases of wounded, especially those with eye injuries.

Bonosi said that he has already begun to take testimony in the province of Bocas del Toro.

The banana workers’ protests  against Law 30, which amended three laws, six codes, left at least two dead and more than a hundred injured..
