Panama TV programming to get makeover

Look for some moderate changes in local television programming.  After seven months of meetings between the broadcasting advisory board and representatives of local broadcasters h a new commitment that involves changes in program schedules has been agreed.

The last commitment regulating the content of programming, was signed 10 years ago but the commitment was not fully met.
Now, after pressure from government and viewers criticizing programming, the television companies have agreed to changes.
Sedelmeier Herbert, representing the Board Public Utilities Authority of the Board, said details of the agreement will be announced during the coming days.
