Drug traffickers infiltrate Panama’s prosecution services
Drug traffickers have infiltrated Panama’s prosecution service says the country’s Attorney General,Giuseppe Bonissi.
A former drug prosecutor for Los Santos and Herrera, Milagros Valdés has told investigators that officials within the Public Ministry offered her a promotion to dismiss charges against suspected drug traffickers."In her statement, Valdés confessed that she received no money, but received the benefit of a position within the Public Ministry," said Bonossi and promised that more criminal charges will be laid soon.
