Ombudsman investigating hospital deaths

Panama’s ombudsman, Patria Portugal, has registered a complaint about  the 16 deaths caused by nosocomial bacteria. in  the Social Security(CSS)  hospital  

The announcement came  announced Wednesday through a press release. The outbreak of the bacterium Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemase (KPC) in some sections of the CSS Hospital has caused panic among people attending the hospital and the insured population demands an explanation says the release

Portugal, will ask the directors of the CSS about the handling of the situation and  what explanation has been given to patients who have been victim of KPC bacteria and the measures taken to prevent further cases. "We want to an explanation of what is happening in the CSS.
