Martinelli is ill-advised says Panama Mayor
Panama’s President, Ricardo Martinelli is not bad, but it is very ill-advised, said City Mayor Bosco Vallarino on Monday, September 5.
And, as far as Bosco is concerned , the president "was wrong" in the way he dismissed Vice President Juan Carlos Varela from the office of Foreign Minister.
According Vallarino, Martinelli had to call his “friend” and announce the decision. But he dismissed him in a derogatory way, said the mayor, who is a member of the Panamenista Party, led by Varela.
Before being political, Martinelli and Varela were friends, said the mayor on TVN News .
Vallarino also referred to the recent bill that seeks to overturn the National Assembly resolution that restored his citizenship. The mayor, said he felt hurt and disappointed but will continue working.
