Collision alley claims another life
A second person involved in a collision with a Diablo rojo in Chorrera's “collision alley” on Friday, April 27, had died.
The accident took place on the Arraiján-La Chorrera highway and the latest reported fatality is Lorraine Dominguez, 30 who died in hospital.
On the section of road where the collision occured there were 164 recorded accidents in the first 120 days of 2012 according to police statistics/
The latest collision occurred as a result of alleged improper turn by the driver of a bus on the La Chorrera Panama route.
Indira Vallarino, a passenger in the front seat of the car died at the accident site. The National Police Traffic Operations Division of have recommended that drivers slow down when passing along this road under construction.
