Media blocked from police awards ceremony

Waiting media were denied access to an awards ceremony conducted by President Ricardo Martinelli at the National Police (PN) headquarters on Tuesday, June 26.

Martinelli arrived at the Ancon  HQ at 8 am accompanied by his presidential police outriders to hand out medals to officials of security agencies who have been injured in the exercise of their duties d some in wheelchairs says La Prensa.

Minister of Public Security, Jose Raul Mulino and Deputy Minister Alejandro Garuz were  also there.
