Classes re-opening at protesting school
Classes at the National Institute, which were suspended last week due to protests by students, will resume Wednesday April 10.
Education Director Marisín Chanis ordered the closure of the school after two days of student protests. Chanis Said Monday, April 8 today that there will be strong disciplinary measures taken at the reopening of the school.
In a statement, the Chanis said that most of the teachers "are in disagreement" with the closures of streets and vandalism. That will lead to the "restructuring of the school," said the official.
The missed classes will be recovered during the scheduled break from May 27 to 31.
