ELECTION ROUTE: Alliance of two dwarfs – Martinelli

THE POLITICAL alliance between the Panameñista Party and the Popular Party (PP) is an alliance "between two dwarfs," said President Ricardo Martinelli on Monday, May 6.

The Panameñista Party is led by Vice President Juan Carlos Varela a former ally of Martinelli, and the Popular Party by Milton Henriquez, brother of Martinelli’s Minister of the Presidency, Roberto Henriquez.

The statement was made upon his arrival at the inauguration of the new Via Cincuentenario, which he described as an "excellent" project and one example of work done by his administration in an area that was previously ignored.
He said that the ruling CD will see its support increase as its projects across the country are finished.
