Martinelli promises study of Metro line to Capira

A STUDY of the third line of the Metro rail line from Panama City to Capira will be completed before the end of his mandate said President Ricardo Martinelli on Friday September 6.

The statement came during a ceremony in the granting of 20 land titles and the groundbreaking for a $3.6 million primary care facility in Capira.

The Secretariat of the Metro is preparing a study of Line 2, which will extend to Tocumen and 24 de Diciembre.
Line 3 will serve La Chorrera and Arriajan, in addition to Capira.
The first line of the Metro is expected to open in the next few months.
