Panama based Venezuelans approach OAS
A GROUP of Venezuelans living in Panama descended on the office of the Organization of American States (OAS) representative in Panama with a petition asking for respect of the democratic charter in their country.
The headquarters of the OAS, is located in the City of Knowledge. The complainants insisted that human rights be respected and that the Venezuelan government refrain from violence.
They were also critical of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, saying that he commits abuses against Venezuelans.
They asked, Abigail Castro de Pérez to convey their request to OAS General Secretary José Miguel Insulza.
