Moscoso, Arias labeled birds of a feather
THE PRESIDENTIAL candidate of the People First alliance, Juan Carlos Varela, and his running mate, Isabel Saint Malo, reacted Monday, March 10, to the decision of former president Mireya Moscoso to support the CD candidate.
For Varela, The decision reflects the José Domingo Arias campaign which, lies in "economic and personal interests, but not in the interests of the people."
Saint Malo said Moscoso is part of history. The People's Party and Panameñistas "do not want a government like Moscoso , but one that works for the Panamanian people."
"There are stories of the Moscoso government that I do not want to repeat but they are similar to this government [ Democratic Change ], which promotes the candidacy of Arias …. Birds of a feather flock together"
