SKF the Swedish Multinational Company Confirms Installation of its Distribution Center in Panama.
The Swedish multinational SKF, a global leader in specialized bearing engineering, announced that it will establish its distribution center in Panama for the Central American, Mexican, Colombian, Ecuadorian and Peruvian markets, according to an official statement.
Panama’s ambassador to Sweden, Natalia Royo, indicated that the company plans to begin operations in the country in approximately 17 months, during which time it will prepare its facilities. With this expansion, Panama will become a key point in its logistics chain, generating employment opportunities for local talent.
SKF is a global leader in engineering, specializing in versatile bearings capable of withstanding radial and axial loads at high speeds. The company currently operates in 130 countries and employs approximately 37,000 people.
