Those Canucks know how to throw a party

With over three weeks to go, over a third of the available places for a Canada Day (July 1) celebration have been sold, and half of those are to non-Canadians.

That of course is not totally surprising, as the event is organized by the CanadaPLUS Club, and as the “Plus” means all nations, iamong its over 500 membersand associates are people from 25 countries, even including some who are only annual visitors, who pop up to meet old friends at the annual “Welcome Back Snowbirds” party in November.

Canada Day, is just one of five major functions planned before year end and with a Miramar Intercontinental gourmet buffet, wine, music and entertainment at $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers, it sounds like a can’t miss bargain.
If you are interested in helping celebrate the day in 1867 when three British Colonies united to become Canada, you will discover that the club has the loveable custom of delivering your tickets to home or office in Panama City, and deliveries have already begun. Don’t get left out as, based on other CanadaPLUS events, Canada day is sure to be a sellout. You can order from clubcanadaplus@gmail.com or by calling 6619-6890. See you at the party.
