OFF THE CUFF: MOP legacy – Bad roads and drainage systems
DETERIORATION of the asphalt layer, poorly designed drainage systems and changes in construction designs are some of the irregularities that the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) has detected in road works executed by the past administration.
The news will come as little surprise to motorists who bump their way around the city or navigate fords during rain storms, in spite of the vaunted “road builder” reputation of the previous government including a $750 million highway circling Caso Viejo (Cinta Costera 3)
