Rivera will miss unanimous Hall of Fame vote Roberto Kelly

PANAMANIAN major league baseball superstar Mariano Rivera will not be unanimously voted into the Major League Hall of Fame League when his turn comes in 2019 in spite of his record breaking achievements says baseball compatriot Roberto Kelly.

Rivera has the historical record of 652 saves, plus 42 play off championships, five World Series and 13 timesAll-Star.
Kelly, in a La Prensa interview, said that based on Rivera’s record the vote should be unanimous but historically “American writers have a habit that they do not they want anyone to be elected unanimously.”
“Lots of players who had good chances,/ were put aside for various considerations,” said the former major ;eaguer who has been named as third base coach for the San Francisco Giants.
“Only they know why they do not vote unanimously, but Mariano is one that should be completely one hundred percent,” he said.
No one has managed to be raised with the full backing of the Baseball Writers Association of America.
Last year there was expectation that the legendary pitcher Gregg Maddux could become the first player to be unanimously elected, but was not.
Rivera completed 2,830 and two thirds innings of work during 19 seasons with the New York Yankees, the third in the history table, behind only pitchers who performed early last century.
” Kelly, a Panamanian, who dreams of becoming a major league manager, will be inducted into the Latino National Baseball Hall of Fame at a ceremony to be held in the first week of February in the Dominican Republic.
