Earthquake closes 5 Darien schools
Five schools in the Darién have been closed following an earthquake measuring 6.01 degrees on the Richter scale on Tuesday, July 28.
The schools are located in the area near the Colombia-Panama border.
An assessment of the damage is being carried out to determine the date that the schools can be reopened.
José Donderis, director of the civil defense agency Sinaproc, said that the entity will continue to monitor the situation.
