OFF THE CUFF: “People wagons” end need to offer a seat

TRAVELERS on Panama’s Metro trains are asking if the move to”people wagons” was lack of planning, miscalculation, or  faulty budgeting,The introduction of standing only carriages by eliminating seats comes, according to Metro de Panama SA, because passenger demand on line 1 of the Metro has risen to 239,000 a day

So far seats have been removed from four wagons, eliminating the need for passengers to offer their seats to the elderly, disabled,  and pregnant women.
Luis Torres, of Movement of users October 23, said that e the space problem in the metrovwill not be resolved, and recommended that the directors of the company speed up the process of acquiring additional carriages.
