Taxi drivers protest pirate operators

THERE WERE long traffic delays in the Chepo area on Friday Dec, 18, as taxi drivers followed the lead of other yellow hornet drivers and  blocked the main road in the community to protest the ongoing increase in pirate transport in the sector, and the lack of government response.

Police tried to clear the road, but were not successful reports La Prensa.

Preliminary reports indicated that some protesters were detained.
