Early Christmas baby born on Metro bus
A WOMAN PASSENGER gave birth to a baby girl on a Metro Bus on Tuesday December 22 .
The Mi Bus Company confirmed the arrival of the early Christmas gift on Bus 37 of the Los Andes Via Espana -. Albrook route driven byLuis Villarreal.
When the woman’s waters broke and she went into labor the driver left his route and headed for Santo Tomas Hospital where staff boarded the bus and delivered the baby. Mother and child were admitted to the hospital.
The baby became an instant celebrity as passengers captured the event on video which quickly became a social media hit. “The driver returned to his regular route,” says a Mi Bus statement.
