Gasoline prices down 50% since 2014

THE PRICE of gasoline in Panama has fallen 50% since 2014, but may soon be bottoming out as the price of oil starts to rise with the announced freezing of production by a number  of oil producing countries.

Meanwhile Iran is readying to resume production so the wavering oil prices could head downward again.

For Panama new prices will kick in at 6 am on Friday, February 19 and remain in place for two weeks. 91 octane gasoline will cost 0.552 cents per liter,  ($2.09  a gallon) 95 octane gasoline will cost 0.597 cents per liter. ($2.26 a gallon).
