60 evacuated as second flood wrecks homes

Over 60 people have been evacuated from their homes as the La Villa River  in Los Santos,overflowed its banks  for the second time in two months.

Elvis Ortega, of the Los Santos Fire Department, Ortega said residents were evacuated from nine houses that suffered significant damage and another eight homes  were flooded
Crops were damaged and roads to neighboring communities cut off
The  displaced families are being assisted by the Red Cross.
