TV host in fatal accident asks respect, consideration
A PANAMANIAN singer and television presenter who was arrested after an accident that lead to the death of a 64 year old man appealed Tuesday Dec 13 for “respect and consideration.”
Margarita HenriqueZ was involved in an accident at 10 am on Monday on the PanAmerican Highway in Aguadulce in which a 64 year old man was killed.
Henriquez, in a posting on instagram, thanked “everyone” for their words of support. “It’s a difficult time because God has given me a difficult test,” she wrote.
“I have been blamed by many, without them knowing what actually took place, and I ask for respect and consideration.”
The singer was driving a Ford Explorer and was accompanied by the presenter of the show ‘Hecho en Panama,’ Luis Lucho Perez. She was detained after the accident and appeared before a judge on Tuesday for the first hearing on the matter. She was plac ed under country arrest and has to report on the 30th of each month.
