Trial of alleged killers of expats delayed

THE TRIAL  of alleged serial killer William “Wild Bill” Holbert, and Laura Reese, scheduled for Monday May 29 has been postponed for the third time, on this occasion because a lawyer has not been paid.

Both are accused of the 2010  alleged murder and robbery of five expats living in the province of Bocas del Toro,

The suspension is because Claudia Alvarado Rojas, Reese’s lawyer, filed her waiver of the case because  she has not been paid.

The hearing has been  suspended, and rescheduled for  Monday, July 10, 2017.  On that day, the defendants must face trial by jury for the allged   robbery and killing of Bo Barry Lawrence Icelar, Michael Brown, Manchittha Nankratoke Brown and Watson Seaward Brown, And the murder of  of Cheryl Linda Hughes.
