DNA tests confirm identity of dead girl

A YEAR after her disappearance, Chiriqui , authorities have confirmed that the remains found by a fisherman in Estero Rico in Alanje Chiriqui belong to  Rosa Maria Robles.

The authorities confirmed that the skeleton corresponds to the 16-year-old.

Relatives were informed of the results of the DNA tests that were performed on the remains found on January 25 this year.

The Homicide Prosecutor’s Office has initiated an investigation.
