OMG, the car needs servicing

Photographs of a sedan-type vehicle that burst into flames before exploding on Via Cincuentenario on the weekend have gone viral.

The incident happened at Atlapa as the vehicle was heading to Panama Viejo.  The fire started without warning and the driver managed to escape unhurt before the car exploded when the flames reached the gas tank.

According to preliminary reports, the incident was due to electrical and mechanical problems brought on by lack of maintenance, reports Mi Diario.
