Rain and flood alert extended 72 hours

The Emergency Operations Center (COE) of Panama’s Civil Protection Agency (Sinaproc) extended the weather warning alert for a further 72 hours, as a low-pressure system persists over the country and generates unstable conditions.

Sinaproc has  carried out an evaluation of 43 homes affected by flood water in the Province of Panamá West,  and have urged citizens in Panama and Panama West, to take preventive measures as the rains continue

The COE is maintaining  round the clock  monitoring and has  rescue personnel in the vulnerable areas
