Anti-quarantine protestors

Demonstrators carrying banners and singing protest songs gathered on the Via España near the Iglesia del Carmen on  Saturday, August 29  to demand an end to quarantine restrictions introduced to battle Covid-19.   

In recent weeks doctors and nurses have taken to the streets to demand personal protective equipment and  back pay while taxi drivers have protested against changes in scheduling and in multiple locations, citizens have ventured out with pots and pans to protest illegal partying during curfew hours
