14 Panama museums reopen with free admission

Fourteen Panama museums will reopen with free admission, in November with the respective biosafety measures established by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) says the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura).

“It is important to know that the maximum capacity allowed, depending on the spaces of each one of the museums, will be indicated by room; so we are working on a digital tool so that the public and tourists can make their reservations online through the ministry’s website, ”said the National Museum Coordinator, Anayansi Chichaco.

The first to open its doors to the public will be the Colonial Religious Art Museum, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm,

The reopening of the Museum of History of Panama is scheduled for November 12.

“We hope that by the end of November and the beginning of December all the adjustments will be made in terms of health and prevention of Covid-19 so that the interior museums can receive nationals and foreigners. In addition, we announce that the 14 museums will be free until December 2020, ”said Chichaco.
