Six injured in three vehicle crash including school bus
A three-vehicle collision including a school bus on the Inter-America highway in Capira, Panama Oeste 8 injured six people and sent five to hospital on Saturday, September 7.
The driver of one of the vehicles said that a truck which was traveling in the direction of the capital city suddenly got off the road and “practically flew ” to the opposite lane, impacting the school bus and the car in which he was traveling with his family.
After hitting the two vehicles, the truck ended up in a ravine next to the road. Members of the Panama Fire Department rescued two men who were taken to the Nicolás Alejo Solano hospital in La Chorrera along with three people traveling in the college busito who also were admitted to the medical center
