35 injured in separate bus accidents
At least 35 people were injured in two separate bus crashes on Friday, October 4.
The first incident involving at least 19 passengers occurred in the morning on the Cinta Costera 3 when the driver of a Panama -Arriajan “green devil) (recycled US school bus) lost control and plunged into a ditch. A massive traffic jam followed as the injured were treated or ferried to medical centers and two cranes arrived to remove the bus
The second overturned green devil was in the afternoon on the Transistmic Way, at the exit of the Panama-Colón Highway, Preliminary reports listed 16 people injured.
