60 minors among 300 flouting pandemic rules in Casco disco
At least 60 minors were among 300 people caught inside a bar-disco in Casco Viejo, on Friday night, May 28, during a police and Minsa joint operation.
Ana Lorena Chang, head of public health of the Metropolitan Region of the Ministry of Health, said that during an operation to verify the Covid-19 regulations in the San Felipe, it was found that there were around 300 people inside the premises.
“Several of them, around 60 underage people were drinking alcoholic beverages, we even found cigarettes and electronic cigarettes,” said Chang.
The Juvenile Police took the adolescents for “their respective sanctions.” There were adults without documentation, some of them foreigners.
Chang said ^that a report was raised to sanction the local because “they are still not allowed to remain open”, due to the pandemic.
“What follows is the closure of the site,” she said.
