Scores in fruitless search for missing 9-year-old girl

 

A search in La  Represa de Chorrera by the  National  Police and the Public Ministry and scores of rescuers from the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) for nine-year-old Aderlyn Mailenis Llerena Saldaña who disappeared on her way to school on September 13 was called off after four hours on Wednesday, October 5.

According to some reports she was forced into a gray car on the day she disappeared.

Four – canines and 10 divers participated in the operation that toured the Gatun Lake area and surroundings of La Represa, without locating any signs or traces of the little girl.

The Superior Prosecutor of San Miguelito,   Zulma Dip, said: “any information that is provided to us, in order to establish the location of the minor (Aderlyn ), we immediately carry out the corresponding search.”

Dip asked the population to provide truthful reports on the whereabouts of the little girl.

The 9-year-old has been missing since September 13, when she was on her way from her home, located in Emberá Purú, to the Gabriel Lewis Galindo school, in Las Trancas, San Miguelito district.

Until now, the search tasks had been carried out in the capital city and the surroundings of the minor’s house in San Miguelito.
