The Panama Government Deports and Expels 67 Foreigners.

The National Migration Service reported on September 17 the deportation and expulsion of 67 foreigners, linked to serious crimes and illegal activities.  According to the institution, the cases include investigations into homicide, injuries, drug trafficking, possession of prohibited substances and membership in transnational criminal organizations, in addition to the practice known as “Gota a Gota” without authorization.

Of the total, 44 citizens are Colombian, of whom 30 were deported and 14 expelled. Measures were also applied against 23 Ecuadorians for various infractions and crimes.  The SNM reiterated that it will maintain immigration controls and actions to remove from the country foreigners who violate Panamanian law.
