For Land they Claim as an Ecological Park, Residents of Villa Lucre Reject New Project Proposal

Residents of Villa Lucre, in the district of San Miguelito, maintain their opposition to the housing projects that are intended to be developed on a plot of land that, according to the community, was presented for years by the developer as an ecological park for the use of the residents.  History highlights that the Villa Lucre community emerged in 1985 as a project driven by engineer Rafael E. Alemán (RIP), founder of the Cusa Group, together with the housing promoter Inversiones Ventaviv, SA, developers of the Villa Lucre master plan.

The ecological park, located on 6E Street, Paseo del Valle, in Villa Lucre, José Domingo Espinar district, in the San Miguelito municipality, has been defended by local residents. The residents of Villa Lucre reiterated their rejection of the projects that a developer intends to develop on a plot of land that, they claim, was offered to them more than 30 years ago as an ecological park.
