Panama Wins Gold in Women’s Wrestling at the IV South American Youth Games

Panama celebrates a new sporting achievement thanks to the outstanding performances of Aisha Williams and Yumaira Russell, who were crowned champions at the IV South American Youth Games by winning gold medals in wrestling. Williams dominated the 73 kg category, while Russell pictured below, did the same in the 65 kg category, demonstrating technique, strength and determination in each of their fights.

Both athletes reflect the result of years of hard work, discipline and perseverance, values that today place them at the top of the podium and make them role models in Panamanian sport.
