Panama: Woman Arrested at Tocumen, Hiding Drugs in Her Private Parts
Foreigners were caught and arrested at Tocumen International Airport hiding drugs.

Units from the National Police Intelligence Directorate arrested a man and a woman at Tocumen International Airport this Monday morning, who were attempting to transport drugs in their private parts. The first case involved a woman who arrived in the country from Cali, Colombia, using false documentation. During the verification process , an X-ray machine was used, which revealed the presence of an illicit substance hidden in her private parts. The woman was immediately arrested and is being prosecuted in accordance with current laws.
In the second case, a Peruvian man who had arrived from Lima with his final destination being South Korea was arrested after being found to have cocaine in the form of a ball attached to his genitals. This situation was also identified during security checks at the international flight terminal. Both detainees were referred to the appropriate authorities, who are conducting the relevant investigations and taking the necessary steps to process the cases. The National Police Intelligence Directorate reiterates its commitment to the fight against drug trafficking and illicit drug trafficking in the country.
