“The World now sees Panama as an Attractive, Competitive, and Reliable Country” says the Chamber of Commerce

In its Sunday newsletter of September 7, the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP) highlights that Panama is in the world’s spotlight “for the right reasons: because we are a country of hardworking and talented people, because we have the best connectivity in the region, because we combine modernity and nature, and because we have demonstrated that when we put our minds to it, we achieve results that impact beyond our borders.”
The association reports that, over the past few months, it has received a remarkable series of encouraging news that corroborates that Panama has all the advantages. One of these was that the international expatriate community selected it as “the ideal country to reside in” for its quality of life, stability, climate, and services. Furthermore, the country was nominated in six categories for the 2025 World MICE Awards, which celebrate the best in meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions.
And for the first time in its history, the Premios Juventud —a musical and cultural event with a huge following among Latin American youth—will be held outside the United States, and Panama has been selected as the host country. Every fair, congress, show, and international recognition generates tangible opportunities for our economy and family well-being.
